The Fremont Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Teresa Hoang has been officially voted in as the new president and CEO, marking a historic milestone as the first Asian American leader to serve in this role in the chamber’s 70-year history.
A respected business leader, entrepreneur and community advocate, Hoang brings a dynamic and results-driven leadership style focused on growth, innovation and strengthening Fremont’s business ecosystem. Her appointment reflects the chamber’s commitment to forward-thinking leadership and inclusive representation that mirrors the diversity of the Fremont community.
“I am honored and grateful for the trust the board has placed in me,” said Hoang. “Fremont is one of the most dynamic and diverse cities in the nation, and I look forward to working alongside our business leaders, community partners and elected officials to create opportunities, drive economic growth and build a stronger, more connected community.”
Under her leadership, the chamber will focus on expanding membership, enhancing programming, increasing business visibility and strengthening partnerships between the business community and local government.

Wow! I am really surprised that the Fremont Chamber selected Teresa Hoang. She worked for the Duong family that is currently under investigation by the FBI for bribery of elected officials and taking elected officials to an all expenses paid Vietnam trade mission that Teresa Hoang put together for the Duongs. She worked for them at their Vietnamese Business Association and CalWaste Solutions which owns Evolutionary Homes who bribed former City Councilmember Brian Azevedo who admitted his guilt.
Here’s a recent article about the Duongs and her relationship to them: https://oaklandside.org/2025/04/03/thaos-ties-to-duongs-a-vietnam-trip-city-contracts-more-revealed-in-fbi-case/
