National Night Out

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT IS CELEBRATING ITS 41ST ANNIVERSARY!

Police spend time with youth on National Night Out.

National Night Out is an annual nationwide event designed to strengthen relationships in your neighborhood, raise crime prevention awareness, and continue relationships with police and fire departments.

National Night Out increases awareness about police programs in your area. Drug prevention, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts are spotlighted.

The events are typically organized by neighborhood committees, nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and police departments. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Communities across the country have organized fun filled evenings with the chance to learn safety awareness and tips for preventing auto theft and other crimes. These neighborhood block parties are a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate with local businesses, community groups, law enforcement and first responders.

National Night Out is the perfect chance to get to know your neighbors better! It’s also an excellent opportunity to help kids get the schoolyear off to a good start.

Show your support for community partnerships. Don’t miss out on this special event promoting unity, safety, and a sense of belonging. The event happens annually on August 6.
