The Odd Couple is coming to San Leandro. In the female version of Neil Simon’s play, Florence (Felix) Unger is just as neurotic and obsessively clean while Olive (Oscar) Madison remains a slovenly, easygoing sports writer. Florence moves in with Olive creating chaos through their clashing personalities and differing views on housekeeping.
Throw in a weekly Trivial Pursuit game with their eclectic mix of friends, two handsome bachelors living upstairs, some flat soda, spoiled food and lemon scented air freshener and you’re in for some good old fashioned New York City fun.
Directed by Dana M. Fry, Ed.D., the play features John Chapin, Emme Clark, Mark DeWeese, Terry Guillory, Larissa Kasian, Jessi Lee, Maya Rath, Linda Scaparotti.
Produced by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. concordtheatrical.com.
