Climb aboard the Haunted Train at Ardenwood Historic Farm for a delightful evening ride filled with glowing pumpkins, towering Halloween decorations, and other Halloween delights. This is not a scary haunt, but a playful Halloween tale designed especially for kids and families, with low intensity and low sensory stimulation compared to other Halloween events.
As the train chugs through the decorated Haunted Forest, riders discover cheerful characters, spooky (not scary) scenes, and plenty of magical Halloween fun. It’s perfect for little ones, parents, and anyone who loves the spirit of the season.
The Haunted Train will operate the two weekends before Halloween: Oct. 16, 17, 18; and Oct. 23, 24, 25. On Friday and Saturday nights the train will run every 30 minutes from 7pm-9:30pm; and on Sundays it will operate between 7pm and 9pm.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Because the ride is at night, for safety reasons every child six years old and under must sit on an adult’s lap. The ticket price is $19.50 for passengers ages three and older. For general information call 510.544.2797.
