Tuesday, August 4
• Officers responded to a road rage incident on Mowry Avenue. A subject reportedly brandished a firearm and displayed it toward other drivers. Officers later located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The subject was taken into custody.
Wednesday, August 5
• Officers responded to a report of an assault at a retail store on Mowry Avenue in which a subject struck a victim in the face with a metal pole. The subject fled the area before officers arrived, and the victim was provided medical treatment for their injuries. Officers located the subject nearby, recovered the weapon and placed him under arrest.
Thursday, August 6
• Officers responded to a report of reckless driving involving multiple vehicles performing donuts in a residential apartment parking lot. Officers located and contacted one of the involved drivers nearby. The driver displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested for driving under the influence.
Friday, August 7
• Officers assisted with a regional response to a large sideshow involving approximately 300 vehicles. A vehicle connected to the incident fled from San Jose and was believed to be heading toward Fremont. During the response, a traffic collision occurred near Osgood Rd. and Auto Mall Pkwy, resulting in a temporary road closure while officers investigated and assisted those involved. Officers subsequently located the wanted vehicle, which was towed.
Saturday, August 8
• Officers responded to a report of domestic violence at a hotel located on Farwell Place. When officers attempted to contact the involved male, he fled from the second floor and was located outside. Officers safely detained the suspect, who was subsequently arrested and transported to jail.
