Think Chinese paintings are only black and white? Think again. A dynamic live demo will explore the expressive, saturated world of color in traditional Chinese art. Maple will go over the techniques behind a stunning lineup of paintings to show participants exactly how master artists utilize vivid color palettes to tell a story.

From bold, opaque mineral layers to translucent watercolor shifts, attendees learn the “how” and “why” behind these timeless masterpieces. Come inspired, and leave with a fresh perspective on color theory.
