The Citizens for Better Community (CBC) will host their annual Spring Celebration on Sunday, April 19, as they gather to honor the Year of the Horse/马年 (Mǎ Nián). In the spirit of the Horse, symbolizing health, harmony, progress & prosperity, they celebrate the strength and momentum of community moving forward together.
The program will reflect a blend of cultural traditions and contemporary expression, featuring special entertainment by Jasmine Wu (Miss Teen California 2025), the Fremont Waist and Drum Dance Group, Dragon Rhythm Shaolin Kung Fu and Elise Go-pop music.
CBC is especially proud to celebrate distinguished honorees whose contributions have made a meaningful impact:

Henry Liang, Volunteer of the Year
Lena Zee, honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award
This evening also highlights local beneficiaries, Local Ecology and Agriculture Fremont and Tri-City Volunteers Food Bank, organizations committed to promoting healthy eating and supporting the well-being of our neighbors.
