Two nonprofit musical organizations are joining forces to present the Collaborative Youth Jazz Festival on Aug. 7, at the Fremont Downtown Event Center. Four groups will perform: Dream Achievers, an all-autistic rock-and-roll band; Dream Achievers expanded Galactic Orchestra and the junior and senior divisions of traditional student jazz band Jazzinators. At the midpoint of the evening they will combine forces for an ensemble performance.

6:45–7:15pm: Combined Big Band Dance Performance (All groups)
7:20–7:50pm: Galactic Orchestra (movie themes)
7:55–8:25pm: Senior Jazzinators (Revivalist SF Jazz)
8:25–8:50pm: All join in on Saints
Food Truck Mafia will be at the plaza, with meals and snacks available for purchase.
