In August, the City of Fremont’s Olive Hyde Art Gallery is presenting its 56th Annual Textile Exhibition, showcasing traditional and contemporary textile and fiber art by local artists.
Discover an inspiring collection of woven works, fiber sculptures, quilts, mixed-media textiles and more. The exhibition welcomes artwork from 20 artists participating for the very first time, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative techniques to this long-running exhibition.

A few artists who participated in the gallery’s recent Matrix: A Printmaking Exhibition will also participate in the textile exhibition, incorporating printmaking techniques into their textile pieces and highlighting the creative connections between these artistic disciplines.
