The 2026 Alameda County Fair will kick off on Juneteenth, June 19. Special opening day festivities include live music from The Gene Simmons Band, fireworks and a drone show.
Fair activities continue with carnival rides, fair food, concerts, movies on the lawn, action sports and livestock competitions. At the Safeway Barn, kids can explore real life agricultural practices through interactive exhibits and learn where food comes from.
There will be two more festival days at the fair: Fiesta at the Fair on June 28 and Blues at the Fair on July 4.
Special for the 2026 World Cup, there will be soccer watch parties on the concert lawn. Check the website for matches and times.
The fair runs Wednesday through Sunday through July 12. Daily tickets and season passes can be purchased at the fair website, with discounts for children and military, and for dollar ride Wednesdays and Throwback Thursdays.
