Silicon Valley Circular Material Inc. (SVCM), a Bay Area recycling company with Fremont and Oakland locations, has filed a lawsuit against its former chief executive officer Emiliano Zamora.
In the complaint, SVCM alleges Zamora of building a competing business while still running the former business. It is also alleged that Zamora coordinated break-ins into the business’s Oakland location to steal site materials. It also sites unauthorized removal of company property, including a Dodge work truck and pressure washer.
According to the lawsuit, customers were also receiving false information about the company, including messages stating the company’s closure and conflicting bin pick-up and payment direction.
SVCM remains in business. Allegations remain subject to proof.
