Spring is in full bloom in Downtown Hayward, sprouting longer days, warmer weather and even more reasons to get outside and explore the neighborhood.
New businesses
Downtown Hayward continues to grow with new additions in the works. Fitness enthusiasts can look forward to the upcoming opening of 440 Gym. Also coming soon is Con Azucar Cafe, which will deliver its specialty lattes and bites with a cultural flair to the neighborhood, adding another lively gathering place.
Outdoor dining
With spring weather in full swing, Downtown Hayward’s outdoor patios are the place to be. Sushi Hinata has recently refreshed its rooftop outdoor dining deck with updated furniture and lush greenery as well as new menu items such as matcha and Japanese sandwiches.
The newly opened Storybook is already becoming a community staple with its spacious patio perfect for casual dinners to catch up with loved ones over hand-tossed pizza, house-made pasta and craft cocktails.
For those looking to pair drinks with entertainment, Turf Club offers an outdoor tiki bar and live music.
