Tri-City Band Corps welcomes new students this fall and winter

Marching band, percussion and dance opportunities are available for jr. high and high schoolers

Tri-City Band Corps (TBC) is excited to announce that registration for its fall programs will open on October 1! Whether you’re looking to learn to play an instrument for the first time with the Hastati Regiment or to join the Royal Regiment for high schoolers who can march or participate in one of their diverse winter programs, there’s something for everyone.

Winter programs include: Drum Major training for those interested in leading a marching band, Tri-City Percussion for independent winter drumline enthusiasts, Immortalis for beginners looking to explore dancing and compete in competitions, Imperialis for those interested in competitive winter guard, and the Special Needs Percussion Regiment designed to support special-needs students in learning percussion.

The Royals will kick off their upcoming autumn parades with a performance at the Niles Festival of Lights parade on November 29, followed by their participation in the Hollister Lights on Celebration Parade on November 30. Be sure not to miss the excitement they will bring to these parades! The Royals will make a special appearance at the Holiday Parade in Pleasanton on December 7. In preparation for these events, the team will conduct rehearsals to ensure an exceptional performance. Join us in celebrating and acknowledging the dedication and perseverance of the performers. Your support means the world to them!

TBC’s Cadet Regiment will also be open for this school year, for middle schoolers from 6th – 8th grades and high schoolers who are new to marching band. They will be performing in many parades and performances, such as the Newark Days Parade on September 21, Niles Festival of Lights parade, and the Pleasanton Holiday Parade. Rehearsals will also be conducted to prepare for the performances. Help support our young musicians by cheering them on with your presence at these wonderful events.

Finally, TBC will host its annual Pasta Feed on November 24th, from 5 – 9 pm at Centerville Community Center. All proceeds go towards TBC and improving its programs. Mark your calendar and join in the fun!
