The City of Fremont’s historic Olive Hyde Art Gallery is proud to partner with the Northern California Women’s Caucus for Art (NCWCA) to present WOMEN CREATE SPACE—a celebration of sculpture and three-dimensional works by Bay Area women artists.
Artwork will showcase a variety of sculptural works including ceramic, assemblage, fiber, metal, glass and much more. Participating women artists include members of NCWCA as well as non-members. Visit ncwca.org for more information about the non-profit organization for women in the arts.
Join us for the opening reception Friday, August 23rd from 7pm to 9pm. A curatorial tour led by NCWCA exhibitions chair Elizabeth Addison, and in-person artist talk Friday, September 13 at 12pm. Gallery and Receptions are always free to the public. All are invited to meet the artists and enjoy the events with fellow art enthusiasts.
