Now that the 2024 election is over, what does it all mean for the country, region, state and cities, for our individual lives and the lives of fellow Americans?
The League of Women Voters-Fremont, Newark and Union City, along with the American Association of University Women-Fremont Branch, is proud to welcome San Jose State University Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Larry Gerston. He will analyze the election results, share his insights and answer our questions.
Professor Gerston is a distinguished scholar, author and media commentator, having written more than a dozen books, numerous journal articles and more than 150 op-ed pieces for major California newspapers. Additionally, he is a frequent on-air political analyst on local, state and national levels. It is timely that just a year ago, Professor Gerston published his book,
Trumpism, Bigotry, and the Threat to American Democracy.
This free program is open to all community members.
