On Tuesday, Sept. 16, an assortment of Not Loud Musicians will be presenting a concert focused on acoustic versions of classic rock songs called FarmStock. This event will be held in a beautiful field at Heirloom East Bay. The one hour show will feature mostly songs from the bands that played at the original Woodstock in ’69, from Janis Joplin to Canned Heat and of course CCR.
Chairs will be provided for this beautiful warm evening under the stars, while the band Dirty Cello, joined by special guests, rock out—but not too loudly. There is handicap accessibility via golf cart.
The band Dirty Cello is led by Rebecca Roudman, often called the “Jimi Hendrix of the cello,” and she’ll of course play some Purple Haze. Known for their exciting re-imaginings of classic rock songs, Dirty Cello is all about energy and fun.
Advanced tickets are encouraged, and there will be bathrooms available, and farm goods to purchase, but no formal food. Arrive early and pet the goats, and visit the garden. There will be eggs to buy and goat milk soap. Doors open at 6 pm.
Picnics are welcome and there is an indoor area in case of inclement weather. Song requests before the show are very welcome—email No*************@***il.com. For more information, visit NotLoudConcerts.com.
