For a long time I used to drop my mail at Irvington post office (Fremont) at the drive-through. But the other day I was rather surprised that it was missing from its location.
What happens now is that the person has to park his/her car, get into the building, drop the letters and return to his/her vehicle. It is very inconvenient for morning commuters who are in rush and on the go.
I noticed the other post offices located at Dusterberry (Fremont) and Alvarado-Niles (Union City) still have a couple of drop-in mailboxes in the parking lot. Why did the Irvington location remove it and for what reason?
I request the post master of the Irvington location to bring back that drop-in mailbox, reinstalled at the drive-through to facilitate its customers. It would be much appreciated.
