The League of Women Voters (LWV) has long played a vital role in strengthening democratic participation in the United States. One of its most visible and impactful contributions is hosting candidate forums and pro/con issue discussions that help voters make informed decisions.
These events are rooted in the LWV’s core mission: to encourage active and informed participation in government while remaining strictly nonpartisan.
Forums provide a structured opportunity for candidates running for public office to present their views, answer questions and engage directly with voters.
