This year’s Fremont 4th of July Parade celebrates its 25th anniversary with the theme “Peace, Love, Fremont,” reflecting our community spirit. The parade unites a diverse spectrum of people from many backgrounds and cultures, standing and celebrating America’s true meaning. It is about a deeply felt commitment to the higher principles of liberty, democracy, self-governance and equality.
The 2024 Parade Grand Marshal is the dedicated and extremely community minded Washington Hospital CEO, Kimberly Hartz.
The Parade begins at the Fremont Main Library on Stevenson Boulevard and Paseo Padre Parkway, and follows Paseo Padre Parkway north, turning left on Capitol and ending at City Hall. Fun and collaboration continues with the Parade After Party at the end of the parade route, hosted by the Tri-City Nonprofit Coalition at the Fremont Downtown Event Center Plaza.
At the After Party, enjoy:
- Food trucks with meals and desserts for purchase
- Jack’s Brewery serving beer and wine for purchase
- Performances by Starstruck Theater, Ohlone College Summerfest, and Friends of Children with Special Needs-Dream Achievers
- 24 local nonprofits greeting the community with fun games and giveaways
The Fremont 4th of July nonprofit organization would like to thank community members, businesses, veterans, and all supporters who contribute time, creativity, and donations to make this a great event for everyone.
