On Jan. 12 at approximately 3:09pm, Fremont Police officers responded to the Cushing Parkway and Northport Loop East intersection. A major injury collision was reported between a pickup truck and a motorcyclist.
The pickup truck driver was unharmed and remained at the scene. However, the motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries an hour after arrival and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The identification of the decedent has not yet been released.
This is Fremont’s second fatal traffic collision in 2026.
