The California Grizzlies — a local youth running club— competed on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the AAU Junior Olympic Cross-Country National Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina. Once again, the Grizzlies excelled at the National Championships, as six members of the California Grizzlies made All-American, finishing in the top 25 in the nation in their respective age groups. Here are the names of these outstanding runners and their amazing achievements:
2K Girls 7-year-olds = 13th Place — Diya Nalluri 9:31
2K Boys 8-year-olds = 18th Place — Krish Shah 8:10
3K Boys 9-year-olds = 14th Place — Aariv Patel 12:09
3K Boys 11-year-olds = 19th Place — Vihaan Sharma 11:29
4K Girls 13-year-olds = 10th Place — Rosie Fennelly 15:31
5K Girls 15-year-olds = 24th Place — Sophie Chang 22:26
