WalletHub has rolled out their annual “Happiest Cities in America” list and for the sixth consecutive year, Fremont has been titled the number one city on that list.
The WalletHub report cites one reason for the city’s title win is that 80% of the city’s households make at least $75,000 a year, the highest percentage in the country. Other factors include highest rate of life satisfaction, seventh-lowest depression rate, lowest separation and divorce rate in the country at 9.3% and fifth highest in life expectancy.
Other California cities that ranked within the top 20 included Irvine (#8), San Jose (#10) and San Francisco (#17).
