Flamy Grant, a chart-topping drag queen, singer and songwriter, from Asheville, North Carolina, will “raise our solar roof,” said Pastor Jeff Spencer, with her performance at Niles Discovery Church on Oct. 24. The church is selling tickets online and, because the number is limited, it is recommended buying them in advance.
Flamy is a finalist for the 2025 International Folk Music Awards’ Artist of the Year, and has over 1.5 million streams on Apple, Spotify and Amazon. Spencer says, “Her music is hard to classify. It’s definitely influenced by country, folk, and rock, with lyrics that connect to Christian themes…I don’t think we can pigeonhole her style. What’s certain is that she puts on a great, heart-felt show.”
Flamy’s 2022 debut record, Bible Belt Baby, hit the number one spot on the iTunes Christian Chart. She is the first drag performer to achieve this feat. Her single “Good Day” debuted at number 20 on the Billboard Christian digital sales chart.
The concert at Niles Discovery Church is Flamy Grant’s only Bay Area stop on her cross-country Fall Tour. Only 150 tickets are available at nilesdiscoverychurch.ticketspice.com/flamy-grant-in-concert (all sales are final). If the concert hasn’t sold out prior to show time, tickets will be available at the door.
