Take a tumble down the rabbit hole into the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland! East Bay Children’s Theatre (EBCT) kicks off their 92nd season with the musical extravaganza CURIOUS AND CURIOUSER – The “Alice In Wonderland” Musical. Join Alice as she encounters a curious collection of cracked eggs, singing Olowers, mad hatters and screaming queens in this colorful world-premiere production.
EBCT (the oldest continuously operating theater company in the Bay Area) continues its long-standing relationship with award-winning playwright and composer/lyricist Ron Lytle, who has applied his trademark spin to the beloved Lewis Carroll classic. With sparkling new tunes, side-splitting comedy and magical special effects on the menu, this is one Mad Tea Party for the entire family that you will not want to miss. Whether it’s your un-birthday, or not!
The talented cast of CURIOUS and CURIOUSER includes actors from across the entire Bay Area and Los Angeles: Jordyn Foley, Terry Pink Alexander, Alexis Lane Jensen, Michael Mendelsohn, Mary Bishop, Hannah Conner, Deena Foley, Diana Kehrig, Kelly Crocker, Amosi Morgan, James Paul Gregory and Devon La Bar.
EBCT will present the show on Saturday, October 12 (1pm and 3pm) at Town Hall Theatre, 3535 School Street, Lafayette; Sunday, October 20 (2pm) at The Elks Lodge Theater, 2255 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda; and Sunday, October 27 (2pm) at The Village Theater, 233 Front Street, Danville. Children of all ages are encouraged to come in costume and have their picture taken ON STAGE with the cast after the show!
