Fremont Art Association is pleased to feature Durba Sen as the guest artist at its General Meeting and Art Demo on Wednesday, April 1, at 1pm via Zoom.
Durba Sen is a Bay Area artist that will demonstrate using acrylics to paint geometric shapes and forms on paper. In this 1.5 hour demo, Sen will focus on how shapes and color play with each other to create a dynamic and harmonious balance.
Participants will gain insight into how to choose shapes and forms that complement each other and how to use colors to evoke visual emotion and representation.
Having been painting for many years, Sen enjoys exploring different media including oils, acrylics, graphite, charcoal and oil pastels. She explains that her art is “inspired by nature, my travels around the world, the vibrant interactions with color, shapes and textures in the socio-cultural realm that bind us all together.”
Durba Sen’s work is exhibited in several Bay Area galleries such as Olive Hyde Art Guild & Gallery, Pacific Art League, Arc Gallery SF and more.
