Dog Days of Summer

Pups and humans flock to Sun Gallery for snow cones and portraits

Submitted by Paki Ahkoi

Come play in the shade of the Sun Gallery Courtyard! There are just two more dates left on our Dog Days of Summer series.

We’ve got music, art and a pup-friendly gallery. Check out our projects in our Maker Space like etching a dog tag. There will be a DIY pup cup station to get your doggie treats, or you can take them to the Snow Cone booth where we have puppy cones (bone broth and beef on ice) or human friendly flavors. Free puppy portraits are done by our own resident photographer Bruce Cassaday.

Weather looks great, but just in case you’re worried about the heat we’ve installed a water feature for the puppies to play in and cool down.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the door. Free entry with any dog food donation. Your ticket also gets you a raffle ticket. (Additional raffle tickets are just $5 each.) Thank you to all the sponsors for the great prizes.

For more information check us out online at sungallery.org, email us at in**@su********.org or come in during our business hours. We are at 1015 E Street in Hayward.
