The Bay Phil Youth Orchestra (BPYO) is delivering its season finale on May 17 at the Irvington Presbyterian Church in Fremont. The free concert is a unique opportunity for BPYO’s young musicians to perform side-by-side with the Bay Philharmonic professional musicians.
This special “Journey Through the Classics” event will feature the music of Gershwin, Beethoven, Dvorak and Sibelius, including familiar selections of Ode to Joy and Rhapsody in Blue. It will also include collaborations with, and appearances by, Music for Minors II and the Indian dance troupe Nrityaprerana USA.
