Union City’s Community and Recreation Services Department invites community members of all ages to attend the 5th Annual Polly’s Heart Health Fair, a free intergenerational event dedicated to promoting healthy living, wellness and community connection. This year’s event is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente.
The event will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Ruggieri Senior Center. The morning will focus on older adults and heart health awareness, beginning with a ceremonial memorial walk honoring the legacy of Polly Olson.
Following the walk, attendees are invited to explore a variety of health and wellness resources, including local health vendors, community organizations and exercise demonstrations.
The afternoon will shift its focus to youth and family programming, creating opportunities for multiple generations to learn about wellness and participate in activities that encourage healthy living across all ages.
The event is free and open to the public.
