Keeping our community clean

Fremont resident urges others to keep public areas clean and engage in community

I am writing to share my thoughts about an issue that affects everyone in our community: keeping our neighborhoods clean, safe, and welcoming.

Fremont is a wonderful place to live, but maintaining a strong community requires effort from all of us. One simple way we can make a difference is by taking better care of our shared spaces. Parks, sidewalks, schools, and public areas are used by people every day, yet litter and other forms of neglect can make these places less enjoyable. Residents can help by properly disposing of trash, participating in community cleanups, and encouraging others to respect public spaces.

I also believe that young people should have more opportunities to participate in community activities. Students have creative ideas and plenty of energy to contribute, whether through volunteering, environmental projects, art programs, or helping local organizations. Giving young people a voice can make our community stronger while teaching valuable lessons about responsibility and citizenship.

Small actions may not seem important on their own, but when many people work together, they can create meaningful change. I hope our community continues to encourage residents of all ages to get involved and make Fremont an even better place to live.

Sincerely,

Riya Sinha
