August is here, and so are kittens who need homes. Ohlone Humane Society (OHS) is aiming to adopt out 30 kittens rescued from Fremont, Newark and Union City in a Clear the Shelter movement. The first eight adoptions will be free, thanks to donations from Eileen McDonald and Barb Howard.

Available kittens (and their bonded buddies) can be viewed on the OHS website. Currently, the adoptable kitties are living at foster homes, so anyone interested in adopting should fill out an application online, and OHS will reach out to set up a meeting.
