Dominican Sisters celebrate 150th

Tour little-seen heritage rooms for milestone anniversary

How did the Sisters form their own Dominican community? How did they get to Fremont? Join a free presentation from 2 to 4pm on March 15, led by Sister Mary Catherine Antczak, OP (the community archivist) during which you will have the opportunity to visit the Heritage Rooms at the Motherhouse.

These are like a small museum, containing photographs, furniture, vestments and many other articles precious to the history of the Dominican Sisters. The Heritage Rooms can only be opened on special occasions, so this is a unique opportunity made possible by the celebration of 150 years as the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose.
