In Sept. 13, the downtown San Leandro “Okdroberfest” (for San LeanDRO) returns for its third year. The Oktoberfest-style festival includes beer and food vendors, as well as live music from Blowmusik oompah band and Deutscher Musikverein. There will be a stein-holding competition with men’s and women’s categories, and because it’s San Leandro, there’s also a team cornhole tournament.
Admission to the event is free, but an Okdroberfest beer stein is required for beer pours. One stein plus two pours is $32 on Eventbrite, and a stein with four pours is $50. Admission to the stein holding ($35) or cornhole competitions ($125) also include beer steins.
