In between yearly meetups at the end of April, Hayward Lit Hop keeps busy with smaller gatherings like readings at South Hayward Farmers Market. Now the Lit Hop has launched a new event, the Hayward Coffee Hop on Saturday, Sept. 13.
The Hop stops at coffee shops in Hayward’s downtown, with literary readings at each venue, with a final stop at Books on B. (Each stop takes about 20 minutes.) Confirmed venues so far are: Zocalo’s at the downtown library, Snappy’s, and Old City Roastery. A $15 ticket covers a sample size coffee at each venue.
