When, Where, and How to Vote
1. Voting Dates: The primary election day for the 2024 elections is Tuesday, November 5. However, voting is not limited to this single day. Thanks to the Voter’s Choice Act, you can vote at designated vote centers from October 7 through November 5.
2. Vote Centers: Locations for vote centers will be announced closer to the election date. Check the Alameda County Registrar of Voters website for the most current list and addresses.
3. Voting by Mail: Every eligible registered voter will receive a Vote by Mail ballot. They will be sent out starting October 7. If you did not get a ballot, follow up at your local county registrar to see if your information is up to date. Once you receive your ballot be sure to follow the instructions carefully and mail your ballot back by the deadline, or drop it off at a ballot drop box.
