Safety in San Leandro

City encourages citizens to learn about non-emergency reporting app and police explorer program

The City of San Leandro is launching My-SanLeandro, a mobile 3-11 app and website where residents can report non-emergency issues such as abandoned vehicles, damaged sidewalks, potholes and litter. Visit SanLeandro.org/ReportAConcern to learn more. Note: For immediate concerns, contact the San Leandro Police Department at 510.577.2740.

Young adults ages 14 to 19 who are curious about learning the basics of law enforcing can volunteer for the Police Explorer Program. Work with officers and department employees and learn about how to be more responsible and active in their community, as well as what a law enforcement career involves.
