Chabot Space explores the science of all things bubble

Step into a world of wobbly wonders and popping surprises the weekend of July 27 and 28 as bubble experts showcase the coolest tricks and mind-blowing science behind bubbles. From rainbow-colored bubbles to bubble art masterpieces, there’s something awe inspiring for everyone! And did you know bubbles hold secrets about stars and outer space?
Bubblefest activities will include performances by Sterling Johnson (“Sterling the Bubblesmith”), Rebecca Nile (“The Bubble Lady”) and Samantha Ashe (“Bubble Sam”), as well as exciting live science demonstrations featuring fire, ice and bubbles! Join special guest speaker Julia DeMarines to discover the science of bubbles, boogie down at our Bubble Dance Party, and create your own masterpiece in our fun and colorful Paint with Bubbles activity.
Dive into the action with hands on bubble experiments, watch bubbles dance with dry ice, and experience the thrill of being inside a giant bubble!
