FREMONT, Calif. -- Seismic upgrades of Bay Division pipelines continue as part of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s Hetch Hetchy Water System Improvement Program. The latter entails construction along Mission Boulevard, Fremont. Pedestrians are asked to observe construction and safety signs regarding sidewalk closures.

The contractor has installed a new sidewalk along the south side of Mission Boulevard, north of the I-680. Residents are asked to use this sidewalk instead of crossing to the north side of the road which is currently under construction. To ensure personal safety, please do not cross Mission Boulevard between I-680 and Curtner Road.
