Proclamations and Presentations:
? Honoring the athletes and coaches at the Southern Alameda County Water Polo Club Program
? Establish signatory authorizations for cash on deposit with Fremont Bank for Mayor, City Manager, Deputy City Manager and Finance Director.
? Adopt a resolution opposing California Senate Bill 827, authored by Senator Wiener, which would override the local planning process.
? Adopt a resolution supporting proposition 69, the transportation taxes and fees lockbox and appropriations limit exemption amendment and opposing the repeal of Senate Bill 1, the Road and Repair Accountability Act of 2017.
? Appropriate gas tax funds in the amount of $35,530 for F Street Storm Drain Improvements at BART tracks.
City Manager Reports:
? Adopt three resolutions: reaffirming city policy to maintain certain specified minimum general fund balance, establish a policy requiring that approval of agreements that result in increased employee labor costs be placed as an open agenda item requiring a five-year projection of fiscal impacts and appointing an ad hoc council fiscal stability advisory subcommittee.
? Provide direction to the city staff to prepare a project assignment agreement and funding plan for the city of Union City to assume all responsibility for the design and construction of the East-West Connector Project.
? Declare intent to submit measure to voters to establish a cannabis tax in November, 2018.
