On Thursday, November 30th, we honored Milpitas Police Department Citizen Volunteers at the 2017 Recognition Luncheon. During the luncheon, Citizen Volunteer Betty Won was presented with the Volunteer of the Year award.

Additionally, several Citizen Volunteers were recognized with Service Hour Awards:

3000 hours-Syed Moshin
4000 hours-Betty Won
7000 hours-Allen Thomas

Citizen Volunteers enhance vital police programs and increase community awareness. You can frequently find them at community events and patrolling the city acting as the "eyes and ears" for us. They perform a great service for our department and the community and we truly appreciate their commitment and dedication. THANK YOU!
