Thursday, June 22
At 6:15 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance on Civic Terrace behind the police station involving two vehicles and three people. The drivers of both vehicles were cited for driving on suspended licenses and their vehicles were towed from the scene. A 25-year-old San Jose man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a 22-year-old San Jose man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and retaining the identification of another with the intent to defraud. Both men were booked into the Fremont Jail.


Saturday, June 24
At 11:11 p.m. Officer Jackman responded to the 36600 block of Dugan Court to investigate a report of a suspicious circumstance. Jackman arrested and eventually arrested a 28-year-old Newark man on suspicion of peeping into a window. The man was booked into the Fremont Jail.


Sunday, June 25
At 8:23 p.m. Officer Herbert and Field Training Officer Johnson contacted and arrested a 40-year-old Oakland woman on suspicion of possessing stolen property during a probation search of a vehicle on the 39600 block of Cedar Boulevard. The woman was booked into the Fremont Jail and the vehicle was towed from the scene.


Monday, June 26
At 4:31 p.m. Officers contacted and eventually arrested a 21-year-old Newark man on suspicion of illegal fireworks sales on the 5200 block of Sussex Place. Officers confiscated more than 100 pounds illegal fireworks. The Alameda County Bomb Squad responded to collect and dispose of the fireworks. The suspect was booked into the Santa Rita Jail.


Tuesday, June 27
At 9:58 p.m. Officer Wallace contacted and eventually arrested a 45-year-old Newark man on suspicion of battery on a person, possession of a controlled substance and violation of a restraining order on the 6200 block of Mayhews Landing Road. The man was booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
