Japanese Bazaar offers family fun

Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church (SACBC) offers a weekend of fun for the whole family with their 55th annual ÒJapanese Bazaar.Ó Enjoy food, games, and entertainment for two days, Saturday and Sunday, July 8 and 9, while experiencing Japanese culture.

The bazaar is one of SACBCÕs two fundraising events each year and will showcase Japanese and hula dancers, taiko drums, kendo (Japanese martial arts), ikebana (flower arranging) and bonsai exhibits. There will be a Buddhism mini-lecture as well as a boutique, crafts, bingo and arcade games and more. Available food will include chicken teriyaki, burgers, sushi, and shave ice.
