Odyssey event promotes alternative fuel vehicles
Submitted By East Bay Clean Cities Coalition
"We were very excited to be a part of Odyssey 2012," said Richard Battersby, Director of East Bay Clean Cities. "Our event gave us an opportunity to share valuable information with the public about renewable, domestically produced alternative fuels and advanced technology vehicles. We helped Odyssey in its goal to spread the message of embracing clean air vehicles and renewable biofuels."
National AFV Day Odyssey is a biennial event coordinated and created by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium at West Virginia University. This year was the ten-year anniversary of the event; the 2012 theme was "Driving Change Across America."
The East Bay Clean Cities Coalition's Odyssey event included a public E85 Flex Fuel and Biodiesel promotion combined with consumer education and outreach. The event was co-sponsored by Propel Fuels and Calstart.
