She will oversee daily programs and activities provided to residents with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other memory-impairing diseases through the Emeritus Join Their Journey program. Prior to her new position, Pereida was the recreation services director for Golden Living Centers in Santa Rosa and Petaluma. She is a resident of Stockton.
