The Speaker announced his new committee chairs on August 8, 2012. "I am honored to take over as the new chair of the Assembly Judiciary Committee," Wieckowski said. "I have enjoyed serving with Chairman [Mike] Feuer on the committee as a member and look forward to working with the Judiciary consultants in this new position. I appreciate the Speaker giving me the opportunity to lead this important committee."
