August 14, 2012 > Health Fair and Blood Drive Health Fair and Blood Drive Submitted By Melina Robinson A free Health Fair and Blood Drive is being offered on Saturday, August 18 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Washington Township Medical Foundation, Newark Clinic. Free glucose and blood pressure screenings will be offered. The health fair will have booths covering many topics, including different cancers and Type II Diabetes. The focus of the health fair is how to prevent or screen for the various cancers and other illnesses discussed. To register to donate blood, call the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS (800-733-2767). The event is sponsored by Washington Hospital Healthcare System (WHHS) as part of a Girl Scout Gold Award.
