Vehicle hits restaurant

On July 13 at 10:59 a.m., the Milpitas Police Department received a report of a vehicle into a building at the Heritage of India Restaurant. When police officers arrived they found a 1988 Toyota pickup truck had driven over the sidewalk and into the north side of the building. The restaurant was closed at the time. No employees or patrons were injured. The driver was not injured in the collision. The east bound lanes of Serra Way were closed for approximately one hour. The collision is under investigation at this time.
