Jenkins, BART PD July 2 A victim reported his Next brand, La Jolla model beach cruiser bicycle, valued at $100 and his black cable lock valued at $15 were taken between 8:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. while locked in the bicycle racks on the west side of the station. An officer responded to the station to investigate a report of a male tampering with a bicycle lock. The suspect was scared off by the reporting party. At 6:45 p.m. a victim reported his blue and white K2 road bicycle, valued at $200, and the Bell cable lock were missing. This was the same bicycle being tampered with earlier in the day. It is unknown when the bicycle was originally locked.
