June 12, 2012 > Free concerts in the park Free concerts in the park Submitted By Mila Mishina Hayward Municipal Band will offer free Sunday band concerts beginning June 17 and ending Sunday, July 22. Concerts are under the direction of Kathy Morelli Maier, and will feature a wide variety of musical styles including Big Band, Classical, Pop, and of course America's "March King," by John Phillip Sousa. All concerts are held at the Tony Morelli Bandstand in Memorial Park, behind the Hayward Plunge. Bring a blanket, picnic basket and friends to enjoy this lively afternoon of great band music.
