Logan scored a run at the bottom of the first and second inning with three runs scored in the third. The Logan Colts were unanswered until the top of the fourth inning when American managed to turn two of their three hits of the game into runs. However, Logan retaliated in a strong way scoring five runs in the bottom of the fourth to close out the scoring.
