April 24, 2012 > Hayward Idol Finals Hayward Idol Finals Submitted By Mike Maine The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District will host its Sixth Annual Hayward Idol Saturday, April 28 at the Douglas Morrisson Theatre, 22311 North Third Street, Hayward. This musical showcase will feature teen talent from the San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, San Leandro and Hayward areas. Each contestant had to audition and earned their spot to compete. A panel of judges will choose only one teen to hold the title as the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District's next Hayward Idol. Tickets are $10 each for all ages and are now on sale at the Douglass Morrisson Theatre box office which is open Tuesday-Fridays, 12:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. The box office is closed on Mondays.
